The Novatones are an indie four piece based in Southampton who are gearign themselves up for their new EP, Sunday Romance, which will be available next month. They’re keeping their cards close to their chest so far on that one, but there are a couple of reasons we’re excited about it.
First of all, they are a band who can handle gritty, rock based indie songs with power, verve, and a sense of lightness, as evidenced by Living for the Weekend taken from their last EP:
Second of all, in spite of their taste for energetic rocking, they also have the versatility to hang back and great flowing indie pop that is no less raw. Also taken from their last EP, this is Avenue Road:
